


The following parameters are used to adjust settings of this. resize 100x50> resizes to fit in a 100x50 box keeping the aspect ratio. Set hres=800 and adapt vres maintaining the ratio. This function is a full-scale instrument for changing image size with a large variety of settings. ImageMagick will try to preserve the aspect ratio if you use this command. We’ve used the same file name here, so ImageMagick will overwrite the original file. Visit all directories recursively, overwrite source images, ignore images with matching hres or vres but convert PNG images to JPEG. The following command asks ImageMagick to resize an image to 200 pixels in width and 100 pixels in height: convert example.png -resize 200x100 example.png. The syntax is 'convert -resize resolution currentfile newfile'.
